Movie Night & Celebration in the Park - Faith & Blue 2025

Law enforcement and faith institutions are key pillars of any community. In Kansas City, Kansas we hold the belief that when we work together, our neighborhoods thrive. That is why we invite you to participate in Faith & Blue Weekend 2025, October 10-13!

Join members of law enforcement, first responders and faith-based organizations Saturday night for an evening at Eisenhower Park celebrating unity and community. This free event will feature food, live entertainment, family-friendly movies, first responder vehicle displays, door prizes, and the KCKPD Mobile Video Gaming Trailer. Don't forget to bring lawn chairs or a blanket!

Event Timeline

6-6:45 PM - Opening ceremony featuring KCKPD Honor Guard, speakers & live entertainment.

7 PM - Movie Time! A movie for the little ones will be shown on the exterior of the KCKPD Mobile Video Gaming Trailer and the family-friendly feature, Badge of Faith on a huge, inflatable outdoor screen. Badge of Faith (Rated PG) is based on the real-life story of Roanoke Virginia police officer Bryan Lawrence who is paralyzed during and on-duty encounter with fugitives and fights his way back through sheer faith.

9:30 PM - Event concludes at end of movie.

* This event is rain or shine. In case of wet weather we will move activities inside the Eisenhower Park Community Center.
