KCK Animal Services FREE Community Spay/Neuter Day

NOTE: ALL CLINIC APPOINTMENTS AT KCK ANIMAL SERVICES HAVE BEEN FILLED.

The number of stray dogs and cats in KCK and throughout the Metro has reached critical levels. Shelters have been at capacity levels ever since the pandemic. The only true, humane solution to this problems is for residents to spay and neuter their pets. It's a simple request, and it is required by Kansas City, Kansas City Ordinance. However, we understand that may not be something every resident can afford.

If finances have kept you from having your pet spayed/neutered please, register them today for this FREE clinic today. Space is very limited, and appointments will fill up quickly.

KCK Animal Services is a proud member of Spay/Neuter Collaborative of KC. Many other shelters and animal welfare organizations also be hosting free spay/neuter events on that day throughout the Metro.

Here are the details:

KCK residents only.
Space is limited. You must pre-register online. Click the button on the right of this page.
Small dogs cannot weigh more than 30 lbs. Large dogs no more than 70 lbs.
Pets should have nothing to eat after 10 PM the night before surgery.
Drop off your pet at Animal Services between 7 and 9 AM.
Pick up is between 3 and 4 PM.
Sorry, feral cats are not eligible for this clinic.
