Join hands with law enforcement, first responders and faith leaders in a sign of unity at the following locations across State Ave.:

Saturday, October 10th, 6-9:30 PM - Faith & Blue Movie Night & Celebration in the Park @ Eisenhower Park  

Free food, prizes, gaming trailer & family-friendly movies! Gather with us under the stars for a movie and fellowship - including a special feature just for the little ones! Grab popcorn, nachos and a box of theater candy at our concession stand. Additionally, there will be information tables from our faith groups, the KCKPD gaming trailer, and lots of family-friendly fun! 

Monday, October 12th, 9 AM, KCKPD Museum, KCKPD Headquarters - Faith Leaders Breakfast with Chief Oakman 

As Faith & Blue Weekend comes to a close, faith leaders are invited to join Chief Oakman for a review of this year’s activities and a conversation about how we can continue building on these partnerships and carry the spirit of Faith & Blue throughout the year.

 

The weekend is a collaborative effort of the KCKPD, Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office, Kansas City, Kansas Fire Department and the Unified Government Parks & Recreation Department. 

National Faith & Blue Weekend facilitates safer and stronger communities by engaging law enforcement officers and local residents through the connections of faith-based organizations. It is based on the premise that strong communities are built through mutual respect and understanding.
