Faith & Blue Weekend - Unity Vigil

Supported by our local faith community, the National Faith & Blue Weekend is a collaborative effort to build bridges between residents and law enforcement. Here in Kansas City, Kansas Faith and Blue events are hosted by the KCKPD, Wyandotte County Sheriff's Office, the Kansas City, Kansas Police and Firefighters Chaplains Association, the University of Kansas Police Department - KU Med Campus, and the Board of Public Utilities.

The weekend kicks off with a Unity Vigil Friday night. The community is invited to gather in mindful reflection and deliberate dedication to working together to make KCK one of the safest communities in the metro. Attendees are encouraged to show their commitment to working with law enforcement by placing a luminaria along the path of light. Supplies will be provided.
