Community Affairs Unit

The Community Affairs Unit's responsibility is to create channels of two-way communication between the police department and the community.  The Community Liaison monitors community sentiment to apprise the police department of present or potential quality of life concerns.  They coordinate regular meetings with the community leaders to share information and to assist the department in directing resources. The Community Liaison reports to the Executive Officer to the Chief of Police.
